Intermezzo Chamber Players Showcase
with Ben Tompkins and the World Premiere performance of his “Prix Fixe” for Violin and Piano

The Intermezzo Chamber Players is an alliance of talented composers/teachers/performers. Comprised mainly of faculty from Denver’s Intermezzo Chamber Music Sessions music camp, guest colleagues from all over the country and abroad are often invited to join in. Accomplished artists all, these musicians have performed around the world to considerable acclaim. Tonight we showcase Nan Shannon, piano; Dorian Kincaid, violin; Bettina Schaden, viola; and Dianne Betkowski, cello, performing Bruch Kol Nidrei, Mozart’s Piano Quartet in G minor and Beethoven’s Duo for Violin and Cello. Ben Tompkins will perform his composition, “Prix Fixe,” for violin and piano.
